Dial-A-Designated-Driver, affectionately known as "DADD," is Charlotte's premier designated driving service.

When a customer calls, two drivers are sent to pick him or her up; one takes the customer home in the comfort of their own vehicle and a second driver accompanies the first to transport the driver back to the next pickup location. Customers know they have a safe ride home for themselves and their car anytime of night.

1. Call 1-888-422-DADD (3233) anytime.
2. When you call:
   1. Provide us with your name and phone number
   2. Let us know your pickup and drop off locations
   3. Tell us the make and model of your vehicle
   4. Let us know the time that you and your passengers would like to be picked up
3. One of DADD's professional drivers will arrive at your location to pick you up within 30 minutes* Your driver will call you when he/she arrives at your location so they can meet you at the front door. (First time riders will be asked to verify Driver's License and Proof of Insurance**)
4. Mileage is calculated via your odometer. Your driver will write down the initial mileage before you leave and the final mileage when you arrive at your destination.
5. DADD's drivers will drop you off at your requested destination where the car will be parked in your designated spot, with the doors locked, before handing over the keys to you.
6. If you have a Membership with DADD, we will directly bill your card on file. If you do not have a Membership with DADD, upon payment, your transaction will be complete and your driver will be picked up by the "Chaser" car following behind. DADD gladly accepts Cash, Mastercard, and Visa.

You bet we are! With rides starting from just $24.95, our flat-rates are ALWAYS cheaper than a DUI/DWI or an accident!

 

* Unforeseen circumstances and large volumes of customers may cause this time to vary
** DADD's drivers are fully insured through Lloyds of London. Our clients do assume the primary insurance risk through their occasional driver clause with their insurance company. All DADD's drivers also carry personal auto insurance. We take our customer's safety very seriously and all drivers are required to pass rigorous background and drug tests along with having their MVR/DMV records pulled and verified before driving for DADD. Random drug testing is also administered on a regular basis.
